Worst Amazon purchase ever, a real piece of junk. First, the treadmill was delivered by a semi 18 wheeler. It couldn't get close to my home. I had to back my pickup to the back of the semi and help the driver load it. Then we backed up to my door and unloaded it there from my pickup.
Next, they packed the plastic console under the treadmill and several console supports were broken.
Lastly, the treadmill would not fold properly after assembly. The deck would hit the right handgrip, it was off-center by 2". Using my level, I found that the support arms were not square with the treadmill. I had to remove the console and handgrips, stand on the treadmill and force the arms over to the proper position. I then reassembled the handgrips and console. After that, it would fold normally.
If it wasn't so much trouble, I would send it back. Instead, I'll try to sell it to someone I hate.

I have it only for about 3 weeks, It was easy to assemble (I am not handy)and so far it's working great.
If it keeps up like this then it's great for the price.

My husband and I got this at Christmas as our gift to each other and while I'm embarrassed to say that we don't use it as often as we had hoped to we still really like it. I'm 5'8 and around 140 lbs and found it easy to use and that it supports me well. My husband is 6'1 so in our low ceiling basement he's pretty close to the top while running on it, its also very noisy especially when you have a 230 lbs man running on it. The noise is my only con with it, otherwise its a great treadmill for the price.

I never received the item. It was sent to me by a carrier called CEVA and those guys never arrived with my item. I need to say that I live 50 Miles from a Medium size city, and these guys were expecting to consolidate more load in order to be cost effective for them. Not surprisingly (unless waiting for several more months), that consolidation never happened and therefore the item never arrived. After 30 days of the order being placed (and the item not arriving) I decided to cancel. Fair enough for CEVA, since they processed the return quite fast and got my refund in less than a week. Can't evaluate the product, but the logistics on large items with this carrier is pretty pathetic. This is the first time I have this type of issues with Amazon, and this will not hinder my appetite to buy from them again; I'll just look for smaller items that fit on the regular mail.

Delivery of the Merit Fitness 715T Treadmill was quick and right to my front door with no problems, plus free shipping. It's very sturdy and the easy to follow instructions made it easy to put together. It's easy to move around we love it. We been using it and it's a great fitness treadmill.
